Quality & packing
Glass either survives the trip or it does not. There is no partial credit. Our quality system is built around that single fact.
Four checkpoints
Incoming substrate
Float glass checked for bubbles, inclusions, scratches and flatness before it enters the line. A defect in the substrate cannot be fixed downstream.
In-process
Dimensions after cutting, edge quality after polishing, coating thickness and colour after coating. Anything out of tolerance is stopped there, not at the end.
Fragment & performance test
Tempered glass fragment count per EN 12150 / GB 15763.2. Heat soak on request. IGU dew point and seal test. Laminated peel strength.
Pre-shipment
Full visual inspection under controlled light, label-to-schedule cross-check, and photographs of every crate before it is closed.
How we pack
Mirrors
Pearl wool between each sheet, EPE foam on all four edges, 5-ply carton, then plywood crate. Mirror face never touches another surface.
Tempered & building glass
Standing crates with A-frame or vertical rack, cork or foam separators, strapped and shrink-wrapped.
IGU & laminated
Edge-protected, corner-guarded, crated vertically with desiccant packs inside.
Small lots & samples
Carton with honeycomb board, corners reinforced, suitable for air freight.
If something arrives broken
Photograph the crate before opening, then the damaged sheets with the label visible, within 7 days of arrival. We replace breakage caused before loading at our cost, and we credit the freight difference on the next order. Claims are handled by the person who packed the container, not by a form.
Standards & certification
Test reports and certificates are issued per order on request. Tell us which standard your project requires and we will confirm before production.
